Are arb’s still avaliable?
vrtParticipantJust picked up a piece for the swap. It’s the tabs used to hold the driveshaft.
Looks like the project is back into the slow mode again
vrtParticipantHere is some more photo’s of what was done to the left and right side of the rails. Much clearer photos
vrtParticipantSo the filler neck doesn’t fit perfect. the bolt holes don’t line up so I have to make new holes or make some type of adapter to fit into the original holes.
stay tunedalso forgot to add. Looks like no one had a proportional valve on their cars. So were to place it now that the haldex is in place is tricky. I think I found a way around it. I hope to have pics of this tomorrow
vrtParticipantYes it didn’t take long once they got moving.
The rear axles have then shortenedvrtParticipantNo comments??
vrtParticipantvrtParticipantfloor is now in and seam sealed
vrtParticipantvrtParticipantOnce the floor is all in place. Next will be getting a hole for the fuel system
Like this photo
vrtParticipantHere are pics of the floor underneath. It still has to lower a bit
vrtParticipantvrtParticipantI have lots of new pic to show what really need to cut cut out on the passanger side. There is a extra reinforcement on corrados that need to get cut out or trimmed back to help slid the side panel into place.
The floor is now in it’s proper place. It’s been tacked into place so that we can test fit the subframe and make sure everything is level. Once it’s all ok. The crew will weld up everything tight
vrtParticipanthe corrado floor is out
the new floor will be in place tomorrow. Seems that it’s not a perfect fit about 1″ on each side needs to be cut out so that it fits
vrtParticipantready to place into the car
