i have got another box but iam going to keep it as a spare i think someone else had one forsale on here, or you could ask chris he always has parts. i would be happier if you took the whole shell cos i dont have the space to cut it up really. you could recoup some of the cost as one of the chaps on here was after a section of the boot floor where the cross member fixes to the bodywork. just an idea[:)]

I wasn’t looking to add handling, but I am certainly not looking to loose it either. I just like the look of the small wide wheels. I was also going to use wheel spacers and get the inner arches rolled. thought it might look original. I ‘wheel’ investigate ha ha . I am sad I know but it gave me a giggle.

hi guys went for a drive at the weekend the problem returned i mangaed to full throttle it home but when i got home the engine cut out. it didnt start again. blasted it with some carb cleaner but no go, when i checked the carb holes they were full of petrol? the car only starts after a few minutes in which i have to keep the car over 3000rpm or the car cuts out even if i have the choke out, the exhaust note is burbled and rumbley with large volumes of whiteish blueish smoke i could have flooded the engine? a mechanic suggested that the float chamber maybe blocked or seized and that i should remove the carb and check, is there any pictures showing how to dismantle the carb? regards [V]
