AUTOMEC
If you need brake pipes, brake pipe sets or brake fluid these are the people to use.
From answering the phone to discussing my requirements, they were polite and knowledgeable and keen to help.
I wanted a full brake pipe set for a Rallye and despite not having the specification for the pipe runs they did everything to overcome the problem rather than the more usual “Nah sorry mate never heard of it”.
Using my e-mailed measurements they made the set and sent it out same day complete with full fitting instructions and pipe clips. Each pipe was labelled to relate it to the position on the car.
The quality was excellent, prices very competitive, all in all how all companies should be, but these days becoming a rare experience.
As an indication of their care and dedication, they rang me prior to despatch, concerned that I might have forgotten a pipe from the master cylinder to the ABS unit. (as the ABS unit is integrated with the master cylinder, there is no pipe). Dispite not knowing the system they used their experience to assume there might be a pipe and I might have missed it!
