MemberHi, firstly welcome to vwsyncro.co.uk, it would be kinda nice if you could just jot down a few words re you and the car – e.g. whereabouts you’re based, what model car and mods etc [
]We did start this on another thread somewhere but it’s probably easier here [
]If you have photos which you’d like putting up on the site email ld50@vwsyncro.co.uk and we’ll sort it from there…

MemberSilver lhd golf syncro with 1P injection engine. various mods and additions including big bumper and arch conversion, electric windows, central locking, bigger front brakes (rear discs to follow), lowered and uprated shocks and springs, alloys etc..
Incidently, the suspension cost £150 and uses new boge turbogas shocks and used, but perfect springs. It sits low enough to look good, rides very nicely and handles well too! The front shocks are GTI 16v spec and the rears are mk1 golf spec. poly bushes to come!November 4, 2003 at 7:04 pm #1993rallye ronan
Memberhi my name is ronan, i own a rallye golf which is having a respray carried out at the moment. i also have a oak green 3dr syncro shell that i am converting to rhd.

ModeratorRonan, can you please document the parts required for your rhd conversion as in dashboard, exhaust manifold /downpipe, steering rack, etc, also any tricks or difficult jobs you find, we will then put it in our reference section for everyone who is contemplating the same job, as at the moment we seem constantly to be reinventing the wheel! thanks chris s
