Hello
Im from france, near paris.
I just bought a golf mk2 syncro with 1.8 engine 90hp (gu) I started to upgrade my braking in front (g60 in 280mm) and I find on this forum very good informations for the rear.
unfortunately Some links doesnt work (they are on the old forum). I would have 2 or 3 questions in order to replace the rear brake by disc on my syncro. see you soon, I hopeHave a look here, you may have to log in again though.
