    Any1 got any ideas if the interior/engine/body work on a 5 door mk2 golf and a golf syncro are interchangeable. I cant seem to find answers anywhere.

    Also, What exhaust system would fit it then, or is it a new aftermarket exhaust jobbie?
    It’s also currently got a single carb and I want a twin, where would be best to hunt one of them from?

    What are you trying to do? As far as I know the actual body (panels interior etc) are the same. Only difference is the floorpan and rear axle assembly for syncro and FWD as far as I know.
