screen surround is pretty good, same can be said for the fuel filler and the surrounding metal work! Soon be new any shiny though!

2020! things are moving on! we have colour! inner arches and bottom of car painted in colour coded raptor liner, Body obviously Montana Green. Starting to look bloody nice i reckon. Hopefully back home with me in around 3 weeks

cheers, im very happy with how its turning out. cant wait to get it back and build it up!

Update on the original engine.. Pistons and bores are knackered, now i could use this opportunity to do a engine conversion. Some people may even say it makes sense, but.. i say even then i’d want to rebuild the engine going in, so! Original engine is going to get a rebore to the max size, that with the 268 cam and PB GTi ECU should see me at about 120bhp which is more than enough for a golf on stilts i reckon

stuff has been happening! peruse the photos at you leisure! Gearbox being attacked too, 5th gear was knackered so is being swapped out for the ‘longer’ 5th (0.71) that i have in my spare box
