Hi, I am reluctantly selling my much loved Country Chrome edition. I have owned it for the last 7 years and brought it to Crete 3 years ago. It has done the round trip twice now without missing a beat so pretty reliable I would say.I am returning to the UK with it at the end of June and intend selling it because I just don’t use it here now. Its in excellent condition and I have always replaced anything needed with genuine VW parts or best alternative. It comes with over £500 worth of unused spares including a replacement sliding roof bought from Germany but never got round to replacing. The existing one works fine but has shrunk in the sun! It also comes with a new unfitted electric window winder mechanism, A set of Thule roof bars, an extra spare wheel, unused genuine VW front discs and parts to convert to a rear disc set up. It also has a Webasto programmeable petrol heater so the car can be pre-warmed before start up(never used here of course) and much more. The ECU has also had an upgrade.
I am asking £10,500 for this rare car. I will be in Manchester during July and visiting a few shows. e-mail me at johnmckenna306@btinternet.com for further info.
How do I add pics to my ad please?
Are you coming to GTI Internationsl on 4-5th July? Im hosting a Golf Country stand and trying to get as many there as I can

Good place to advertise it as well

The Show would probably be a good place to sell it as well!
Hi Guys. Thanks for the replies. Couldnt respond sooner I have been on the road from Crete to Manchester. I can tell you that the Country ran beautifully all the way at 120kph. I got to Calais in record time…just as the port shut down because of a strike!!! I am definately coming to the GTi meet on Sunday.See you all there. Sorry to sound ignorant but can you talk me through the “photobucket” procedure?

Hi Dave. It was good to meet up with you at the weekend. Pity there weren’t a few more of us but I learnt a lot from your considerable knowledge!
