My conversion bits came from a 1992 Passat G60 Syncro with ABS but my Mk2 Jetta does not have ABS. Does this cause a problem with the Syncro system?

No, it will run either with or without it makes no difference.

i removed that ****ty old ABS system on my golf when i converted it to G60..

and i’m in the process of putting a newer system from a golf mk3 into it :)

much easier, and it then has ABS brakeson all 4 wheels. not only the fronts

this way i can remove that ****ing seized up brake proportion valve in the rear.

and there is way less wiring involved the ECU and everything is built into the Pump. and you also retain the Vacuum servo. so you don’t have to worry about burning up your million-drollar old abs pump :)

some small mods are needed tho. but they should be managable

Thanks, that’s great news as I didn’t want to mess with all that ABS stuff anyway.

The ****ing brake proportion valve in the rear is seized up on my car too.
