I am having to sell my much loved black 1991 H-reg Volkswagen Golf Syncro.

The car has only done 64,000 miles and is in lovely condition, I bought the car at the start of November 2009 and had no intention to sell the car ever! I am only selling the car due to a genuine change in circumstances.

I am the third owner of the car, the 2 previous owners of the car were from the same family, basically the grandfather bought it brand new (I even have the original sales brochure for the syncro) and then sold it to his grandson, who I then bought it from.

It took me a very long time to find a Syncro in this condition, this car has been well looked after all its life.
It has power steering and central locking, when I bought the car it was fitted with a Weber carburettor and a set of GTI wheels, Apart from these two modifications, the car is totally standard and original, it even has original VW rubber mats.

Major work done recently includes replacing nearly all of the parts on the rear brake system, there is a link on this site that shows what was done.
Additionally, the car was given an oil service just 300 miles ago and just recently had a new MOT put on (expiry 17.03.2012), which it passed with flying colors (no advisories what so ever). I know this phrase is used a lot on car adverts, but the MOT tester really did comment on how well maintained the car was.

The car is taxed till end of August.
