4Motion rear inner CV-joint will not accept G60 Syncro rear driveshaft. The splines on the driveshafts are too short. The CV-joints are 28.3 mm. thru the spline hole, the spline on the driveshafts are 31 mm. total, minus 5 mm. in to the locking spring and minus 2.5 mm. for the washer on the inner side. That makes 23.5 mm. all together, missing approx 5 mm. to fit.
What is the trick here? I guess a lot of people have done this before…

Are the rear Rallye CV’s 100 mm? And will they fit without any modifying?

Do anyone know for sure that there is a narrow 100 mm inner CV joint that will accept a Syncro rear driveshaft?

Please post a pic with your answer. [;)]

Quite a few people have told me that this is possible but I have not seen it done so far. [:(]

even if not cv joint and skim it down ? there is not much differance in width between 90mm and 100mm it is possible to fit 100mm joints to 90 mm shafts it’s just a botch as theres no clip retaing them so you have to put a blob of weld on to retain shaft ( a botch i know )

or if you dont want to machene the whoel face just recess the cenet part of the joint to accsept the clip.
