VR6 Transfer Box To Rallye Gearbox (no oilways)

Does anybody know if you can use a VR6 syncro transfer box (and diff) on a Rallye gearbox that did not have oilways.

While the VR6 Transfer box will bolt up to the gearbox & physically fit you will have problems getting (& keeping)a measured amount oil in the tranfer box (there is no filler plug on top of the transfer box) you would be better off fitting the VR6 transfer box to a Passat Syncro 02C type gearbox (with oilways)
