    Hello,
    recently bought a mk2 golf syncro 1990
    was wondering if any or all of the normal mk2 golf 5 door parts fitted the mk2 syncro.
    Interior/panels/engine etc
    is there anything thats not interchangeable.

    Also, What exhaust system would fit it then, or is it a new aftermarket exhaust jobbie?
    It’s also currently got a single carb and I want a twin, where would be best to hunt one of them from?

    Hi there.
    All parts not affected by the higher transmission tunnel are the same as a regular five door golf, and of course the rear axle and anything around it!
