I’ve bought a pair of Rallye shocks and springs off the bay. Described as nearly new (they certainly don’t look too old) as mine are of unknown age. I’m putting new H&R springs all round, so now I can do the rears then just bolt them on.
Anyway, the part number on the paper sticker is 191 513 033P with the words “shock ABS” printed under it. The same number is stamped on the shock body.
ETKA lists this as “Shock Absorber” under the relevant Rallye/Syncro section.
But there is also a shock absorber listed for a Rallye with the number 191 513 033T
Have I messed up and got the wrong shocks? I assume the damping rate is different [?]
Also, if they are different would any of us actually be able to notice the difference [

They are “ordinary Syncro” shokkers, but as you say “would any of us actually be able to notice the difference”
I think the answer to that question has to be a resounding No
Thanks Chris. My thoughts exactly. I’ll get the new springs on then I can just swap the full units over. Then do the fronts.
