    Having taken the rear axle assembly off my Golf G60 Syncro to rebuild it, I’ve found that there are signs of fluid loss from the viscous coupling. (The underside of the chassis is wet from it, and I can see where it has exited from one of the circular holes that exist in the casing.)

    If anyone has a known good one (that is known not to have lost oil) available then I’d be greatly interested.

    I would also be happy to consider buying a complete rear differential with good VC.
