MemberYeah, as you can see I was pretty keen in that thread. But now that the £480 figure has been stated, I really want to await images of the first manifold before I make a decision. I am tempted to invest that kind of money into a TIG and have a bash at it myself. What do you guys reckon – is that reasonable money considering the amount of work and material costs that will go in? I know that to get flanges cut and to buy the mandrel-bent pieces could probably cost you a couple of hundred quid to start off with, so considering the time and effort involved, maybe it’s quite reasonable.
Dannyp, could you give more details regarding this £550 solution please? That sounds far, far, far too cheap and I’m assuming this is a situation where you’re supplying materials yourself or getting mate’s rates?

Participantthats a price i got given to have my exhaust system copyed ( with a few changes to make fitting easyer ) but dose require’s cabel change gearbox. the rear and mid sections are going in soon to be copyed as i think my mid pipe is on its way out.
at that price i can assuer you that there are no manderel bends in it, and the silencer boxes will be cheep and it’ll be mig welded like most systems are. once you mention manderl bends, and tig things get expensive. i chould get it priced to be done with mandrel bends, and tig but would be silly money
