VW dont make REAR springs for mk2 G syncro any more and I just could,nt find anyone to sell them.[

But a company called Coil Springs.co.uk will make them to any spec you want.You even have a choice of colours.
I sent them a cheque for £140 and as promised, two weeks later a pair of new rear springs.
They were very helpful , I said the car was fitted with a towbar so could they make them a bit stiffer but not increasing the ride height.No prob,so I agreed to have them 7% stiffer.
They are now on the car and I am well chuffed.[
].As said on a previous thread, I dont recommend messing about with the ride height of the syncros unless you want to start changing camber Etc.
