since buying it i have had the bonnet re sprayed, bottem rear driverside door re sprayed, new front valence.
also a massive service with cam belt, timing belt, power steering belt, new thermostat, filters, oil carb cleaned out running nice now.
I am open to offers at the moment bearing in mind i paid 1500 for it body work cost me 350 and still havent got the bill for the service but i think it will be somewhere in the region of 400 pounds.
The exaust is slightly blowing so its booked in for a full stainlees from the manifold with life time garuntee for an extra 280 pounds which is booked in tomorrow. if you want it before tomorrow obviously you can have it cheaper than when it has the exaust on. Really nice example and pretty original.
90k with mainly vw service history by an old bloke who owned it most of his life.

kevinwilsonHi guys I have had quite a few phone calls and texts so I will tell you where we are so I am not messing anyone about. Ben is coming on Thursday (he said he definatly wants the golf). benjiquakerhi there chris thanks for the reply and warm welcome, i would have to agree it is a nice clean example. This is my fifth mk2 golf but iam a syncro vigin!! lol I do have some plans and many questions, probably mostly ones that have already been asked! hahaha
