The rear diff has two vacuum lines.
I can find 1 of them, it runs along with the fuel lines. The second i cant find, i’ve lost it. Whereabouts on the car does it come from? I’ve got a feeling its with the wiring that goes to the rear diff? If it is, its slipped up the trunking…
The one you have lost is the breather/balance pipe, it only goes into the wiring harness to hide the open end, this prevents the diafragm from collecting any dirt and eventually destroying itself, it obviously works very well as even after 15 to 20 years very few of us have had to replace the diafragm due to failure.
