    I am refitting the propshaft to my mk2 jetta after fitting both new carrier bearings. What is the procedure with aligning the propshaft? I seem to recall that there is a bit of side to side movement where the carrier bearings bolt on.

    They are pretty much self aligning, try & centre them if needed
