Yes, there are similarities of the appearance.

There are some illusion differences, though…

yes the “Panda Levin” was a black-and-white variant of a Toyota AE86 which featured heavily in the “initial D” graphic novel and is part of drifting lore. I realise it’s quite a different car from the Jetta but I just liked how it reminded me of the Panda 🙂
