Need your help and advice

I want to drop a 1.8T engine into my syncro – I understand I have to use a passat syncro gearbox and engine mounts, but will there be anything else I have to do? And any advice?

I’d idealy like to put a mk4 dash in too, I realise they wont fit, but I do have access to chainsaws…so in short I’ll make it fit, has anyone else ever done it?
