LimitedMk1
MemberI am seriously considering selling my Mk1 Golf 4wd rolling shell. Though I really don’t want to!!!
This shell has underwent a massive amount of work and hundreds of man hours to get into its current state. The shell is absolutely mint with zero rust or rot and is probably the best Mk1 shell I have seen, and I have owned and looked at hundreds!
It comes complete with the Golf Rallye tunnel fitted, Golf Rallye rear beam fitted and boot floor etc. modified accordingly. It also has the front subframe from a Golf Rallye fitted and a complete custom bulkhead etc. etc. etc. etc. There really has been a huge amount of work gone into this Mk1.
The quality of the work is extremely high and has all been done by a professional fabricator, this is not some cobbled together attempt!
If I do choose to sell this it will be a very regrettable sale and my only reason for being in this dilemna is because I have been unable to spend any time on it since starting a new job 6 months ago.
I also have lots of other 4wd / Mk1 parts which if I do decide to go down this route, will also be for sale. Such as, custom cages weld in roll cage for a Mk1 – brand new, Full Golf Rallye Powerflex Poly Bush kit – brand new, full Audi S3 Haldex setup – 29k miles, Modified Garrett ‘big’ GT30+ turbo – brand new (good for 600bhp with receipt for £1200), hugely modified 16v Golf cylinder head with oversized valves, massive amount of work by a renowned cylinder head expert and now flows over 100cfm more than standard (cost over £2000), GAZ coilovers – brand new, Compbrake eccentric top mounts – brand new, Compbrake hydraulic handbrake – brand new etc. etc. etc.
As I have said I really don’t want to sell this lot and am just contemplating it at the moment so this is an ad to gauge interest more than anything. I know exactly what this lot is worth so I wont be giving it away…
I have pics which I should be able to add when I am not at work!

MemberSorry for the sporadic responses…! Work is a nightmare at the moment alas I have decided not to sell my Mk1, it would be a shame to part with it after all of the work but thanks a lot for the interest it generated anyway!!!
