Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me exactly what the Haldex diff controller does? I know the principles and how it electronically controls the power sent to the rear wheels using inputs from various sensors.
As far as I have been able to find out it controls an amount of oil going to the coupler. I assume this a variable adjustment but how is it done, oil pressure? does it use a stepper motor or some sort of solonoid valve on the diff? is there a pump in the diff?
If I can get all the info on this I might try to make a basic controller for it. ie dash display with switchable settings etc.
Any info would be appreciated
