haldex confusion?

hi, been reading through a few posts about the haldex conversion and most of the time it says you need angle drive 02C 409 053 M? ive a audi s3 gearbox & rear diff do i need to purchase the above angle drive or can i just fit all the s3 bits? i know about shafts,prop,mounts etc its just the gearbox side is confusing

hi mate its all about the ratio of the angle drive your stuff will be fine as you are using the box and the angle drive and diff from the s3, the other drive the o2c skoda one is to be used when you are using the rallye gear box to change the ratio to same as the haldex diff as they are different

great, cleared that one up for me! ive a couple more questions, when using the 6 speed front shafts ( i know they need shortning) do i have to go 5 stud as i read you need mk3 outer cv’s? i want to stay 4 stud as the car will be totally standard looking[8D] also has anyone used one of these controllers? http://www.sqsracing.com/produkt/314:406:haldex-regulator-controler-valve

outer CV’s are interchangable between 4 and 5 stud, iirc they are even the same P/N
