    Hi,

I have swapped the ECU on my G syncro with 1P motor yesterday, but the engine did not start. It cranks, but never starts even if I stepped on the gas pedal.

    The original ECU had 037 906 022AR
and the one I tried swapping was 037 906 022BB.
After swapping, it felt like spark plugs were soaked as it smelled gas around the engine bay and exhaust, and swapping back to 022AR did not start the engine until I stepped on a pedal a little.

The question, is the ECU shot?

I have seen here the symptom I described could be this, but anyone know how to determin if the ECU is shot or not??

    Thanks and Regards,
