Hi All
New member signing up, looking at buying a syncro so seemed logical to sign up here!!
I currently own 2 mk2s, a 5door 91 red 8V gti, and a same year 3dr in black with a VRT in it!
Hopefuly I’ll get the syncro and spend some time getting to know all of ya.

Why are you looking at getting a Syncro?
just cuz! lol, Its a passionate desire, certianly have no logical reason since I cant afford to get another car really, or should I say I shouldnt waste my money on a 3rd golf
I really want a 4wheel drive 3door mk2, but that said I also really want a G60 limited and a golf country lol.

If you want a 3 door then you should head over to Germany and find yourself a G60 Syncro – it might be LHD, but hey it’s got another 70bhp over what anything bar the Rallye had in the UK.
G60 Limited…… good luck with that – they DO come up, just not often or cheap!
Country – seem to be holding their value unreasonably well in Germany. There’s at least a couple of TDI conversions knocking about in the UK – diesel – what an appropriate fuel for such a tractor-like vehicle
Let me guess – it’s a silver shell and it comes with a number of boxes of bits….
Worth about scrap weight, isn’t it? A shell, with no MOT and no fitted engine or transmission.
