ParticipantHi mates!
I will just show you some pictures off my beloved Golf before and right now.
The thing is that I need her done before the winter comes…
A respray and a repair is on the schedual.
I think I need to change the rear wheel bearing, because I can hear a large brumming noice when I drive around.
Okey, over to the pictures!

The seats that are going in.

Corrado antenna and Polo OpenAir canvas roof.

Rust… rust!

But now I know where the water comes from! I did get alot of water on my foots when it rained and I couldnt figure out where it came from

A black trunk carpet and a crackfree wind shield.

The grill and lights I bought for 20quid!

Rust repair… 3M car glue and stainless rivets.

Thats all for now… I have vacation now, and one week I will be completly free. So I will have the car redy for paint!

ModeratorIn your first photo, what are the ‘ears’ at the side(s) of the rear screen?
July 23, 2012 at 11:20 pm #9485Wompa
ParticipantIt some kind of wing that leads air on the rear window and keeps it clean… thats what I thought..
About the Corrado dash, I will scrap that idea and go for a hard plastic dash for a Golf.
The wheels have been choosen.
G60 Steelies for the winter and G60 aluminium wheels for the summer… thats the idea.
But I do think that the steelies are better looking so I may just use my 13” std steelies in winter and the 15” g60 steelies for the summer
