    Hi,

Just changed the wheels on my Country and noticed both rear springs have broken coils at the top.

Anyone got some or know where I could get some?

Or would springs from another model be the correct length and rate? I’ve read about people using cut down Passat springs on a normal Golf Syncro. What would using them un cut be like on a country?

Try VW – I think they are still available

The Golf Country rear spring part numbers vary, please check the number and colour of the paint marks daubed on the springs as these indicate the part and I can give you the correct part number to ask for at the dealers.

You may at the same also want to replace the upper spring perches? p/n for these is 191 512 113

These are notorious for rusting through and then the top half of the shocker joins you inside the car, having fired your parcel shelf support and speaker into your headlining.

You may as well fit a new set of bump stops as yours will definitely be sh*gged out, p/n to suit spring

your original bump stops will probably look something like this
