G2 – Haldex conversion… which front prop donut??

Im sure someone will be able to help I just can’t seem to find the answer I’m looking for on here………

I’m putting an 02m gearbox onto a mk3 front subframe.(It’s actually mounted in a mk1 caddy but that’s a completely different story!!) I know that I need to use an audi tt front prop section which needs to be shortened. From carrying out searches I can’t find if the tt front donut should be used as well??

When offering up the audi A3 quattro front prop (Which I believe to be the same as the tt front prop). The donut/coupling is the one with the metal shield over it. The problem I having that when the gearbox is installed with one the dutchdub 02M mounts, the coupling hits on the steering rack.

I have tried searching on here to answer my question but it only ever states ‘shortened front tt prop’.
There isn’t anything that I can find that at states which coupling is used be it the tt one or a rallye one? I know the syncro one does not work as it has a different PCD for the 3 mounting screws.

I hope someone can help as this problem is driving me nuts!!!!

The Rallye one has the same PCD as the G2/G3 Syncro, so it looks like its probably going to be the TT one.
