    Hi all,

I have a Mkii Golf Syncro. It is an 8v Gti one from Germany.I still need to register it here in Ireland but Im happier collecting parts as of yet!

Ok so here is what I have sofar:

The car it is a 3 door small bumper Mkii Syncro Gt.
20 valve turbo bottom end with agu block, forged crank, new bearings, pumps, etc 1900 custom JE pistons, pauter rods, lowered compression, all rotating parts balanced, vr6 flywheel, spec stage 4 competition clutch. this engine hasnt even been started.

    Shallow sump and lift pump.

    Powerflex bushes.

    Green stuff air filter.

    Garret Gt2871r Turbo.

    Prop shaft from an S3.

Haldex rear beam from an S3.

Conversion kit for the rear beam.

Ecu and loom for the engine.

Also have a lot of nice OEM+ parts for this but I will be keeping them under wraps for the moment!

Whats on my yet to buy list: (Open to advice here!)

    630cc Injectors

    Vibra Technics Engine Mounts

Audi A3/ Skoda Octy 4×4 5 speed Gearbox (less work and damage to the car in fitting it than an S3 6 speed one)

    Bigger bore head gasket

    Arp Head studs

    Mkiii front subframe

    Custom 3″ downpipe

    Exhaust

    Coilovers

    Haldex Controller

    Brembo Brakes for the fronts

    Liquid Gauge

    Walbro Fuel pump

    Wot box

    Boost Gauge

    Egt Gauge

    Air flow ratio Gauge

    Bigger master cylinder

    Alloy wheels (to remain nameless)

    Ina intake manifold- R32 trottlebody

    Engine bay paint

    Timing belt kit

Thats all I can remember thats on the wanted list sofar…..

Also the car doesnt really badly need paint but if Im going to put so much money into it I want it looking perfect so a paint job = 2.2k

And the register it here in Ireland will cost at least .8k

So advice on what I have left out or what I brands I can go for would be great to say the least.

    Thanks
